Salty Scalp Academy exists to help more people learn to love their hair again.
I do this by equipping hairstylists with simplified education and hands-on skills needed to provide personalized scalp care recommendations.
I won’t stop until you understand how to implement effective scalp treatments in real-time.
But also remember - we are not medical doctors - and do have our limitations! I will guide you when to seek further attention from a medical professional or dermatologist.
I envision an industry full of hairstylists who believe that scalp care is the new skincare, and hope to witness more hairstylists feeling confident AF when they utilize microscopic scalp analysis and health-promoting treatments.
In class - I will teach you exactly how to use the trichoscope and what to look for regarding scalp concerns.
Continuing your education as a hairstylist is crucial for building your income and establishing yourself as a credible stylist. Yes, we encourage you to find ways to give picture-worthy cuts, balayage, extensions…whatever your guests are excited about!
And at the same time, we focus on the root problems and solutions that few salons offer these days. You won’t regret completing an in-salon training with us.
